Eva's areas of practice include family law, divorce and dissolution,
custody and visitation, and LGBT family law, including specific
experience with transgender legal issues.
Eva graduated cum laude from George Mason University School of Law in 1999, where she was a member of the Journal of International Legal Studies. This Journal published her Note, titled, "A Juxtaposition of U.S. Asylum Grants to Women Fleeing Female Genital Mutilation and to Gays and Lesbians Fleeing Physical Harm: The Need to Promulgate an INS Regulation for Women Fleeing Female Genital Mutilation," Volume 4:2, Journal of International Legal Studies, Summer 1998.
Prior to becoming a Partner at the Zavos Juncker Law Group, PLLC, Eva was an associate at Condo, Kelly & Byrnes PC in McLean, Virginia.
Eva was born in Agnano, Italy and was raised in Fairfax County, Virginia. Eva received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Virginia in 1996.
Eva's work can be found as the reported case of Scott v. Scott, Court of Appeals of Virginia, December 7, 2004, Record No. 0815-04-4, affirmed. She has been a featured lecturer at "Love and Marriage - A Discussion Panel and Forum on Marriage Equality", sponsored by Whitman-Walker Clinic of Northern Virginia, Human Rights Campaign and Equality Virginia on March 25, 2004. Eva lectured at "Crossing Boundaries, Redefining Gender: A New Front on Equality", at Georgetown University Journal of Gender and the Law's Fifth Annual Gender, Sexuality and the Law Symposium in February, 2002. She has been a featured lecturer with Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers. Eva was selected as a Virginia Rising Star by Super Lawyers™ 2008.
Eva and her spouse of thirteen years live in Bethesda, MD, where they enjoy raising their young daughter, two dogs, and cat. Eva's hobbies include camping, cooking with her daughter, and swimming.
